AIRPORT ANNOUNCES UNITED AIRLINES AIRCRAFT UPGRADE
Thursday, April 12, 2007
CASPER, WY – Natrona County International Airport (NCIA) officials announced that effective June 7, 2007, United Airlines will be upgrading their aircraft serving the Airport. Currently United provides 6 daily departures to and from Denver on 30 passenger EMB120 aircraft. Effective June 7th United will be providing 5 daily departures to and from Denver on 37 passenger Dash 8 aircraft.
“While it may not look like a big change, 180 current daily seats compared to 185 in June, it is very significant,” said Glenn Januska, Airport Manager. “The current aircraft are often weight restricted, which means less than 30 passengers on each flight. This increased capacity will help keep available seats ahead of passenger demand, and we believe it will help with seat reliability.”
