AIRPORT INSTALLS NEW PARKING EQUIPMENT - ADDS SECOND AUTOMATED EXIT LANE
Friday, October 16, 2015
Casper / Natrona County International Airport announced that it has completed the installation of new parking equipment. That equipment includes new ticket dispensers, new revenue control/point of purchase equipment, and a new automated exit lane. “Our parking equipment was pretty old and needed to be replaced for a number of reasons, including increasing difficulty getting replacement parts,” said Glenn Januska, Airport Director. “While travelers probably won’t notice much about the new equipment, I think they will notice the second, automated exit lane. With more flights and larger aircraft, we have more and more vehicles trying to exit the parking lot at the same time, so the second lane is a great customer service addition.” Passengers needing to pay for their parking with cash would still go through the manual lane, which also allows payment with debit/credit cards; however, passengers wanting to pay with a debit/credit card, or those within the 3 hour grace period, can now go through the automated lane to pay and/or exit the lot. “As more passengers pay with debit and credit cards, we will look at opportunities to add more automated exit lanes,” said Januska.
