Tuesday, November 25, 2008
CASPER, WY – Casper / Natrona County International Airport officials announced the receipt of a grant from the Blue Envelope Heath Fund Board of Directors to purchase a defibrillator. The Blue Envelope Fund will pay 100% of the $11,470 defibrillator cost.
“I’m really excited about the new equipment,” said Glenn Januska, Airport Manager. “The new defibrillator will provide the Airport’s medical personnel with increased patient vital information and is compatible with Wyoming Medical Center and area fire department equipment which will reduce patient transport time.” The new defibrillator will replace an existing defibrillator which was provided to the Airport by Blue Envelope back in the mid 90’s. “We’re proud to partner with Blue Envelope and appreciate their continued focus on providing for the heath and well being of the hundreds of thousands of visitors and passengers who come to and through the Airport each year,” said Januska.
