Thursday, December 11, 2008
CASPER, WY – Casper / Natrona County International Airport officials announced the receipt of an air service and airport marketing grant from the State DOT Aeronautics Division.
“We’re once again excited about the Aeronautics Division partnering with us on important aviation programs,” said Glenn Januska, Airport Manager. “We try to do a lot to develop aviation at the Casper / Natrona County International Airport, and these funds become critical in the success of those efforts. I can also say that in my experience working in other states, and my familiarity with other state programs, the support for aviation in Wyoming by the Aeronautics Division, the DOT, the legislature, and the Governor is second to none.”
The Aeronautics Division grant is for $40,000, with the State reimbursing the Airport 50% of eligible costs (up to $20,000 total).
