Casper / Natrona County International Airport announced a 26.4% increase in passenger enplanements (passengers getting on aircraft) in August compared to August of 2009. For the first eight months of 2010 the Airport has recorded a 12.2% increase in enplaned passengers compared to the same period in 2009. “In comparing our top 22 markets in the various travel windows (walk-up fares, 14-day advance purchase, 21-day advance, etc.), we have seen 20-25% fare reductions compared to last year, while at the same time Denver fares have increased approximately 15%, so the fare gap is decreasing,” said Glenn Januska, Airport Manager.
